Critical Game Workshop will explore the phenomena of gaming and how it is reflected in contemporary artistic strategies commenting on our contemporary society. This course will look into the notion of play as it has evolved in our digital times. During the class, students will participate in critical game projects as well as lectures and discussions. Students will work as a group in the project with various roles such as modeler, animator, programmer, sound designer, concept designer, writer, coordinator, etc. This course opens to all major. Programming skills are appreciated but not required.
